At Home Toys for Cats

Trying to keep your cat entertained? Having toys around is a great way to encourage play time. When trying to choose toys for your cat or kitten, remember that most felines are intrigued by objects that have movement. So, toys that roll or rustle will definitely garner attention and draw in your cat, as cats are curious by nature.
While you may be tempted to rush to the pet store and buy a bunch of toys for your furry friend, you should know that many cats will play with things you have in your home. For example, a ping-pong ball that you can roll back and forth will captivate your pet and so will an empty threat spool. So, be creative before you splurge on pet store items.
However, remember that certain items are not safe for your cat or kitten to play with. You'll want to keep balls of yarn, rubber bands and even wire twist ties away from your pet. Even though these items may attract your pet's interest, they can be hazardous to your pet's health.
