What Type of Food Should You Give Your Cat?

Most cat owners have a ready supply of kibble on hand for their cats. It is easy to put out, can be left in the bowl for days and cats can nibble on it whenever they get hungry. However, canned or wet food contains a certain amount of water in it which can be beneficial to a cat's diet. Some cats do not drink enough water, so providing your cat with wet food encourages both nutrient and water uptake.

If you give your cat the same food day after day, you may notice that the cat will not eat as much. That is because the cat may simply be bored of eating the same thing on a regular basis. Try to vary the type and flavor of food that you provide and your cat will be happy and healthy.
